Delicious! In the middle of the forest, with a deer enclosure, a playground and, in my opinion, a friendly and funny boss (some sayings, you could get it wrong), nice, attentive staff.

The food was very good and it went very quickly even though the beer garden was very busy.

Hotel and restaurant Parking lots available. Barrier-free entrance area. Here you can also eat well with a larger group (make sure to reserve a table). The price-performance ratio is 👍. If the hall (larger celebration) is also occupied, it can take a while with the orders (we had to wait about 20 minutes for our drinks). To recommend.

Very friendly staff. Attentive service. The rump steak with pepper sauce was a poem. At the end a glass of Austrian apricot was just great. Highly recommended for guests with children.

If you want to eat well and tasty, you are in good hands here. Nice beer garden, rustic interior, with an open fire in the cold season. There are portions for those who are really hungry. Respect who gets it open. Playground and mini zoo. Parking lot directly at the house. Also a worthwhile destination for cyclists. Unfortunately we had to wait 30 minutes for the waitress last time - that's how it was. Reservation strongly recommended. Affordable price level.

We had lunch in the restaurant today for our birthday party. Most of us enjoyed the food. Some found the food to be very salty. The waitress was told she wanted to pass it on to the kitchen. Otherwise the ambience was nice and the service was nice. It's definitely worth a visit. By the way, there is also a buffet, but we took it from the menu.

The staff is friendly, but completely overwhelmed. Today, 8th July 2020, we waited 30 minutes for drinks. However, we were initially asked every 5 minutes whether we would like to drink something and already know what we would like to eat. You felt a bit rushed, as if a time window was running out. Then nothing more happened ... The food that came next was okay. Unfortunately, after the meal, even after multiple orders, no more drinks came to the table and plates were only slowly cleared away. Dear team, even when it was hot, the garden was well attended and you were friendly ... It doesn't work that way. We're not coming to you anymore. Sorry

With a little waiting time, the food is rustic, but very good and rich. It is your own fault who is not full here.

We were on February 15th 2020 in the old forest house, yes it is true that you have to bring some time if you want to eat here. But that doesn't matter for those who appreciate the quality of the food. It is really good and the service has always been very friendly. Price-performance ratio is top for the quality. A first visit to the old forester's lodge tonight. There were four of us. Pre-ordered a table today at noon. Very friendly reception. Super nice service and a great chef who was always present. The food was excellent. From wild goulash to rumpsteak. With a small dessert from the kitchen. Price performance absolutely consistent. Cozy ambience with fireplace. We would like to come again. Note: we can understand in no way the negative reviews.
